Welcome to a podfic love meme! Specifically, a love meme for all contributors to the podfic community. (ty analise010 for coining that and to yue_ix for the gorgeous art below!) "Contributors" could include but isn't limited: podficcers, audiofic archivists and other infrastructure people, mods, meta writers, cover artists, and betas/cheerleaders.





Some information so that we're all on the same page!

1) Comment with your name if you want to be loved on!
Because some of us have better visibility in some parts of fandom than others, feel free to leave a short bio, links to your social media handles, links to what it is that you do, or whatever context you think is important.

2) Tell us what you want love for.
If you'd rather hear more about your podficcing than your work as an archivist, say so! If you want to hear just about your cover art, say so! If you want to hear about your modding AND your meta AND your podfic, say so! Help us make this as good an experience for you as possible.

3) Let us know if it's okay to befriend you.

Yes! <3 I actually have another chapter recorded that's been sitting unedited on my computer for 2 years heyyyyyy. I keep planning to record Shoebox chapters with other people - starting way back when I was going to do one for sbpaloud with my high school bf - and then something happens to interrupt it. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to finishing more.

Also - god, all of your Wolfstar podfics and Easy There are on my heavy relistening list! Also, I'm like, hello comforting midwestern accent! (I really like listening to everyone's accents, but I have a weird amount of Midwestern pride and am like oh! hi neighbor! when I hear other podficcers who are from the region.)

I just actually recommended you to a friend in the Penny Dreadful fandom, because you were the name on the top of my head when it came to PD podfic! You make work in such a wide range of fandoms, which is awesome, and I really like that you sometimes record your own stories! It's always very interesting to hear exactly how the author imagines their words being spoken.

Hi everyone! I saw the post over on tumblr several times but didn't understand until I clicked the title words at the top!

I'm new to making podfics. A few years ago I had long commute to work and I got bunch of podfics to listen to and I fell in love. There were a few fics that I wanted to listen to while I drive, and they haven't been done so I though I'd try my hand at them so I can listen to them when I can't read.

Currently I've posted 3, 4-5 are still in editing, I'd love some love and thoughts on the way I read, if it's understandable, pacing, what you like don't like. I've read for Captain America (Steve/Bucky). Though, I'm starting Black Helicopter series (SGA; John/Rodney).[I'm a bit terrified as its so long but SOOO looking forward to it cuz this was the fic I've been wanting podficed since I learned about podfics, hopefully I can do it justice]

If possible, I'd like some help on one of my projects, I made some choices, that I don't know if they translated, or is ok listening too, or if it distracts.. (I'm kind of a mess about it right now...) The whole thing is I think about 6 hrs long. It's Color by Numbers by Vitoliel, a Steve/Bucky fic. Please PM me and I'll send links to it? (I still haven't managed to listen to the particular part cuz I'm really anxious about it; but I already did a rough edit on it....)

In case you haven't noticed I get really windy once I get going and would love to make some new friends! I'm on ao3, and tumblr under the same name. (My tumblr started out as a ficrec blog, but now is of all the things that catches my eye.)
