Welcome to a podfic love meme! Specifically, a love meme for all contributors to the podfic community. (ty analise010 for coining that and to yue_ix for the gorgeous art below!) "Contributors" could include but isn't limited: podficcers, audiofic archivists and other infrastructure people, mods, meta writers, cover artists, and betas/cheerleaders.





Some information so that we're all on the same page!

1) Comment with your name if you want to be loved on!
Because some of us have better visibility in some parts of fandom than others, feel free to leave a short bio, links to your social media handles, links to what it is that you do, or whatever context you think is important.

2) Tell us what you want love for.
If you'd rather hear more about your podficcing than your work as an archivist, say so! If you want to hear just about your cover art, say so! If you want to hear about your modding AND your meta AND your podfic, say so! Help us make this as good an experience for you as possible.

3) Let us know if it's okay to befriend you.

Love for my podfics and/or cover art would be great! I podfic a lot in less popular fandoms and I take my complete novice standing as a graphic artist seriously, so I love all the covers I make but sometikes feel like I'm the only one who likes them. I could definitely use the confidence boost.

I podfic as ItsADrizzit and at this point mainly operate in the Dragon Age and Football RPF spheres, but have some other things, too!

Absolutely feel free to friend me! I have a tumblr I never use (ItsADrizzit), post all my work to AO3 as ItsADrizzit, and try to remember to post to DW, but usually forget.

My twitter handle is hanako_noriko. It's private, so maybe lmk if you send a request, but I feel like I recognize many fannish names even if we've never interacted. I'll warn you that my twitter is 90% football (soccer) though! But all fannish friends are welcome!

Your podfic covers are cute and always hand us the mood of your work, which is my favourite type of cover art! <3 You used to do a lot of collage that were graphics sets on their own and Your textures are atmospherics and your colour themes well chosen. Plus, it's really neat how it seems you are tightening up your style lately, using more single frames, blending some elements and choosing varied fonts!

I do always try to capture the mood of the podfic with my covers. I think I relate more to feelings than anything else, so it's always about "how does this make me feel" and then trying to convey it. I'm glad you like my colours! I half-joke that my X-Men power is colour matching, so I'm glad I'm getting it right!

I have been changing my style lately for things. Hopefully I can keep growing my style.

Yes, I'm really glad we're Twitter friends. I love hearing all about teacher life and hockey love!! I'm also glad we got to meet, albeit briefly! Hopefully I'll find myself in/around DFW (I have a plethora of friends in the area) someday soon and we can hang out again.

I remember I first listened to the clip you submitted for the In-Person Podfic Love Fest and it BLEW ME AWAY. The raw emotion in it, and your willingness to Go There and give those characters so much intensity and vulnerability in their dialogue, was absolutely beautiful. I've yet to listen to a full podfic of yours, but honestly I think I'm going to just bite the bullet and go into an unknown fandom so I can listen to all of Truth or Dare. I'm loading it onto my phone as we speak :)

Sari! Your commitment to podficcing the small fandoms like Football RPF that don't otherwise get a lot of love is highly commendable! Even when I know NOTHING of the context of the story I know it's going to be a good one and that you're going to put your all into it and make the reading extra enjoyable. And probably make me laugh out loud at least once. :D
