In 3rd place, after sweeping away the competition in the last few days of the 'thon, is via_ostiense with 1838 points!!

The 1st and 2nd place winners both posted massive amounts of podfic continually throughout the 'thon, and we had no idea what outcome to expect! But the numbers have spoken, and here are the results:

In 2nd place we have diane_mckay, with 2354!!!!

And finally, in 1st place with a total of 2497 points is reena_jenkins!!!!!!



Congratulations to our top three points earners and to ALL of this year's participants; this has been an amazing 'thon, we're awed at the sheer number of participants and the incredible amount of work you've produced. WE ARE ALL WINNERS!

Finally, we'd like to remind you that if you've participated in this year's 'thon we'd like you to please tell us a few stories you'd like podficced -- the top three points earners are not the only people who will get prizes, so even if you didn't place in the top three you might still have earned a prize (and the prizemod doesn't like to ruin the surprise by hunting people down)! Amplificathon is officially closed for 2011! IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING BY FAR. We're completely blown away by the participation this year! An utterly incredible volume of podfic was posted this year, and the last several days were an EPIC race for the top three spots.

Your mods are busy calculating and tabulating and double-checking our results, but the points standings will be revealed soon!
