Welcome to a podfic love meme! Specifically, a love meme for all contributors to the podfic community. (ty analise010 for coining that and to yue_ix for the gorgeous art below!) "Contributors" could include but isn't limited: podficcers, audiofic archivists and other infrastructure people, mods, meta writers, cover artists, and betas/cheerleaders.





Some information so that we're all on the same page!

1) Comment with your name if you want to be loved on!
Because some of us have better visibility in some parts of fandom than others, feel free to leave a short bio, links to your social media handles, links to what it is that you do, or whatever context you think is important.

2) Tell us what you want love for.
If you'd rather hear more about your podficcing than your work as an archivist, say so! If you want to hear just about your cover art, say so! If you want to hear about your modding AND your meta AND your podfic, say so! Help us make this as good an experience for you as possible.

*waves* Hi everybody! I'm Chantress here on DW and AO3, and I'm a podficcer with a bad habit of falling hopelessly in love with sprawling AUs that I can never hope to finish recording in my lifetime. Oops? Also I write sometimes.

I'd love to get some love on my podfic, as I've been in a serious podficcing slump for months following a hard drive crash last year where I lost a bunch of unedited chapters of a fic I was recording, and generally feeling a bunch of self-doubt about my abilities on top of that.

I'm kind of a fandom hermit for the most part, so I'm not really on any other social media sites, and I keep my journal pretty scrupulously filtered as regards my personal life. But if anyone's interested in adding me here, I would love to have awesome podfic peeps to talk to/meta at/gripe about editing with. :D

I ADORE your Leia/Luke/Han podfic 'Through Chaos As It Swirls' and I'm sad that we don't have more fandoms in common/that you haven't been able to post more podfic because of reasons, because I'd love to listen to more of your stuff.

We don't really cross paths in any fandoms! I was thinking, "Gosh, that looks like a really familiar name, but where do I know it from?" And then I realized! You're the ONLY OTHER Silm podficcer besides me and Pumpkin and The_dragongirl! (At least, the only other on Amplificathon and in the AO3 tag.) And you've been doing it since 2014! *bows in awe*

LET'S TALK about how Sindarin pronunciation makes so much more sense than Quenya because it at least has proper rules for where to put emphasis and doesn't dick about as much with diacritics.
