Welcome to a podfic love meme! Specifically, a love meme for all contributors to the podfic community. (ty analise010 for coining that and to yue_ix for the gorgeous art below!) "Contributors" could include but isn't limited: podficcers, audiofic archivists and other infrastructure people, mods, meta writers, cover artists, and betas/cheerleaders.





Some information so that we're all on the same page!

1) Comment with your name if you want to be loved on!
Because some of us have better visibility in some parts of fandom than others, feel free to leave a short bio, links to your social media handles, links to what it is that you do, or whatever context you think is important.

2) Tell us what you want love for.
If you'd rather hear more about your podficcing than your work as an archivist, say so! If you want to hear just about your cover art, say so! If you want to hear about your modding AND your meta AND your podfic, say so! Help us make this as good an experience for you as possible.

3) Let us know if it's okay to befriend you.

I'm arioch on ao3, arioch6 on twitter or spirit that denies on tumblr! I would like love for my podfics - I'm relatively new and don't get much feedback yet, so anything including concrit love is appreciated. I also do write, I'm currently involved in Overwatch and writing f/f and m/m stuff as well as eyeing more podfic pieces there. Slowly, though.

Thank you! I'm actually not just oing video games, but that's the next two fics I've been eyeing. I have been posting for a year now, maybe? You can find it on amplificathon too. Last thing I finished was my Naruto Epic Podfic Big Bang. ^^

Yes, I would love that! YoI is the kind of fandom where I finished canon but never manage to consume much of the fanwork, but whenever I do I have a blast. <3 I would love to do something together.

I've been listening to your stuff:D Your dialogue is so emotive, it's great. I loved the way you used sound effects in the Justice League/PacRim crossover too.

Ahhh, thank you. <3<3<3 I'm super glad you think my reading is emotive because I actually worry about sounding completely stoic and passionless and this is really nice to hear!!! I want to try more voice effects and stuff, there's also a lot in curse.exe bc robots, so! I glad it worked for you but I'm still learning and trying :D

Oh, it's alright about the beta. I'm really happy I managed to finish the EPBB which took so much time. I sadly haven't gotten the feedback I think the story would deserve - I guess one-sided and the other tags are not very inviting. I don't think it's necesarily a bad end for the fic and you get a happy omake chapter, I can understand why people might not like to commit. I'm still a bit worried about how I handled narration? There's a lot of parts where our unreliable narrator kinda panics inside and I tried to read that as frantically... I don't know if people can understand me there, though. But overall I'm happy I did it and I def. think the fic deserves to be read again or for the first time if people don't want to listen.

Hello! I'm SUPER in love with your podfic "A Day With No Regrets." It was cute and fun and you really got me with, “The truth is, I’m caught in a temporal anomaly. Some kind of time loop. This is my third time through, so I’ve seen the first nine episodes twice.”

BUT THEN! “If it happens again, you could just call me up in the morning and let me help, you know. Or someone else, if not me.”

jsadfhgjghsgfj THANK YOU! To be honest, I will always credit mithen for her brilliance in writing that made it such a fun fic. I hope I can do more of her stuff in the future.

Listening back, I don't remember those parts in particular, mostly because I was really worried and focused on my own stuff as sketched out in the reader's notes. Reading it really was catharic because it was like it just fit - I loved the first fic and how Bruce felt really mirrored my guilt on dropping out and not telling her. But that's the magic in mithen's writing that I want to be brave and live up to that. <3<3<3<3<3 Thank you again for the lovely comment!
