Welcome to a podfic love meme! Specifically, a love meme for all contributors to the podfic community. (ty analise010 for coining that and to yue_ix for the gorgeous art below!) "Contributors" could include but isn't limited: podficcers, audiofic archivists and other infrastructure people, mods, meta writers, cover artists, and betas/cheerleaders.





Some information so that we're all on the same page!

1) Comment with your name if you want to be loved on!
Because some of us have better visibility in some parts of fandom than others, feel free to leave a short bio, links to your social media handles, links to what it is that you do, or whatever context you think is important.

2) Tell us what you want love for.
If you'd rather hear more about your podficcing than your work as an archivist, say so! If you want to hear just about your cover art, say so! If you want to hear about your modding AND your meta AND your podfic, say so! Help us make this as good an experience for you as possible.

3) Let us know if it's okay to befriend you.

The fact that you recorded "World Ain't Ready" is so???? fucking impressive! I haven't listened to it yet because I'm saving it for my yearly trip down to see my family in LA, but the very idea that you recorded over TWENTY HOURS of finished audio is astonishing and I can do nothing but fall at your feet in amazement.

Also, I super love your Young Wizards podfic; it's all great. I particularly enjoyed "Only A Mere Florist."

Holy cats, you are the nicest! :D Those twenty(+ a little) hours took me a bit over two years to record (and that fact is very evident if you listen to bits from the beginning and then bits near the end) and it's amazing how lovely the listening community has been about it. I hope you enjoy it!

I listened to a bunch of your Young Wizards stuff last night (and have the Sad Orphans podfic in the wings, because that is a good and noble OT3) and oh my gosh, your reading style is so great! It's so clear and steady in that way that means I know I could relax into anything you made and trust you to carry my feelings around with you.

You are an incredible podficcer. Your character interpretations in World Ain't Ready are forever enshrined in my heart as how those characters truly are. Your podfic got me into Les Mis fandom when neither BEING A LIFELONG MUSICAL THEATRE FAN or MY BEST FRIEND HAVING SPENT MULTIPLE YEARS IN THE FANDOM had managed it. And now I am so very in. You can't tell yet by my output, but I'm currently an hour and a half into the first draft edit of a 20K Enjolras/Grantaire podfic, and it might as well be dedicated to you because it is you who made me fall in love with these characters. Your Grantaire especially is absolute perfection.

Also I saw on tumblr when I started to go into a Les Mis podfic spiral and look at what was out there that you've encouraged at least one other person (and I think more?) to make podfic in the Les Mis fandom, so THANK YOU for that as well. From what I've seen of your tumblr posts and your responses to my comments, you seem like the absolute kindest and loveliest person, and I am so thrilled to see you here at this love meme and thrilled to have you as part of podfic fandom.
