It's A Love Meme - The Sequel!

Welcome to the second annual podfic love meme! Last year cantarina created a love meme for all contributors to the podfic community. "Contributors" could include, but is not limited to: podficcers, audiofic archivists and other infrastructure people, mods, meta writers, cover artists, and betas/cheerleaders. Shout out to yue_ix for allowing us to use the art below once again.



Some information to start -

1) Comment with your name if you want to be loved. Leave a short bio, links to your social media handles, links to what it is that you do in the community, and other fannish info you think is important.

2) Tell us what you want love for. Do you create amazing cover art? Do you love modding challenges? Are you the most meticulous beta listener? Share your skills and help us make this as good an experience for you as possible.

3) Let us know if it's okay to befriend you. With bios and other info out there, it may be confusing to know how much attention is welcome. If you're open to adding new friends, include that somewhere in your comment.

You are my favorite pod person. So much fun to work with, every time I get to write for your voice I am always thrilled with the results. I’m equally thrilled about the process of putting the things together. You are the nicest. I’m also amazed at how well you make your voice suit the different characters. Your interpretation of my Lex, in Kodachrome, for instance, has the perfect cool and sardonic yet adoring (of Clark, anyway) tone vs Clark’s earnestness and warmth, uncertainty and youthful innocence. Doing Filk with you is such a blast. It’s always fun to think about what show tunes are calling me to adapt for fandom. You are mind-bogglingly prolific. I’m astounded at how much incredible work you put out.

Also, you have the best birthday! 😉

Like, I love that you're so willing to dive in and give almost anything a try even if it's not a fandom you're seriously in. I listen to the football podfics AND the Dragon Age podfics you've made for me ALL THE TIME and am super appreciative for them since audio/podfic is really the only way I can manage to consume fic these days and now I can take some of my favourite stories with me and have them not just read to me, but READ TO ME IN THE BEST WAYS!!! So thanks for your willingness and your generosity and your efforts. They are greatly appreciated.

I still can't get over the fact that you recorded Beeswax for me. Like, honestly, it's such a niche fic and fandom that I guess nobody else might have even listened to it but I've listened to it a whole bunch of times and it made me super happy.

I'm not a podficcer, so I shouldn't be here, but I can't resist a drive by GLOMP: THANK YOU SO MUCH for offering to podfic a story for me, when (a) you didn't know me, or (b) didn't know the fandom especially (c) around Christmas where life just twists into crazy. Thank you again for offering your voice talents to podfic a fic for a fellow podficcer's birthday when (a) the fic was long and (b), the notes for pronunciations and files were pretty overwhelming.

SO MUCH LOVE. So much. Where to begin. Your pods: amazing. For example, your C4pods podfics? I couldn't listen to all of the second one, because feels, but your accent?? Just so you know, now whenever I have to imagine a Southern accent, that's my go to. And brilliant use of music in the meta. Can't wait for your next move. Your colabs with Somethingincorporeal are so well paced and perfect, and. And actually, I'll stop right here for the pods, because we don't have all day. Speaking of C4pods, your always right there to accompany me into good bad ideas and I love you for it. The podathons wouldn't be there without you. You're also such a great cheerleader?
