Summary: Chris thought he had the perfect life - the perfect husband, two perfect daughters. It was all just...perfect. But then the reality set in, work and kids cause stress between Chris and his husband, Steve, and before he knows it, their marriage is in name only and he can't even remember the last time they spoke more than two words to each other. Having had enough of Steve's drinking and sleeping around, Chris decides enough is enough and plans to leave with their daughters. But before he can put his plan into action, a terrible accident changes everything. Now, Steve's in charge, and he has to relearn how to be a father, and - more importantly - how to be a husband.

Author's summary: So then, because he’s Hardison, he created a fandom.
Content notes: gen; no standard notes apply. Author's rating: general audiences.
Download or Stream: at the Archive of Our Own (to reduce time spent fighting linkrot). If AO3 is down, check out my reader page at the audiofic archive or my Google Drive.
Reader's note: I am currently trying to record something very long and emotionally fraught, and needed to record something upbeat and quickly-finished as a break. Hardison is always great fun to read and I love the layers of meta in this story.
Feedback and constructive criticism: better than betaing (but probably not better than actually writing) the Fic That Ate Yuletide.
