so we're working hard here at podmind hivequarters to figure out winners and prizes and get it all sorted in a timely manner!

podcat.

podcat has taken charge of the paperwork to ensure proper distribution of prizes.

yes, i am ashamed of myself. i have no excuse.

and yes, by timely i do mean that you aren't going to have to wait much longer before we start!

but right now? well, i'd like to start a rec-fest! i wish i could say i was going to kick it off, but, tragically, the only three offerings i've managed to listen to so far are the three i beta'd. and while i think those are awesome, i am also thinking i have a conflict of interest.

but! i am still very bossy full of suggestions! so. rec us one (or three! or seven!) of the amplificathon podfics! tell us what you liked about the reader's interpretation, or voice, or phrasing, or story choice! tell us your favorite, or the one that surprised you. tell us about the one that sucked you into a new fandom.

listeners, this is your chance to post! go for it!

It's really difficult to decide where to start. There were a lot of great podfics created during the amplificathon. Until now I went with the suprise-myself-strategy (put everything on the iPod and select shuffle) :

As Many As Stars In The Sky by Vehemently (http://community.livejournal.com/amplificathon/50099.html): winkingstar (https://www.dreamwidth.org/users/benutzername/) made me pick my copy of 'The Neverending Story' from the bookshelf and start reading it again :).

A Beautiful Fable by Agentotter (http://community.livejournal.com/amplificathon/78797.html) : malnpudl (https://www.dreamwidth.org/users/benutzername/) reads Emily with the perfect mix of weariness and love for her mother. (Wilby Wonderful)

The World Is Crumbling All Around Us (http://community.livejournal.com/amplificathon/57827.html): didn't know the 'MacDonald Hall' fandom before, but aphelant (https://www.dreamwidth.org/users/benutzername/) has the dry humor of Pru down to an art.

I'm seconding your 'As many stars in the sky' and 'the world is crumbling all around us' recs. I loved both of those. Winkingstar had a gorgeous fairy tale voice:)

Eeee, thank you so much! ♥

I've always hated my recorded voice, so enlisting in this challenge was rather a crazy thing for me to do. But I decided my recorded voice was not so bad as I thought. And now I'm discovering that other people actually like my voice and my readings. :D
