:D :D :D Thank you! (Appaloosa is both a book by Robert B. Parker -- who you might know as the author of the Spenser For Hire series -- and a movie starring Ed Harris as Virgil Cole and Viggo Mortensen as Everett Hitch. There are actually four books, and I love them enormously! The movie is pretty terrific, too. :) )

I just went and added the book to my GoodReads 'To Read' list, it sounds interesting. And of course it doesn't hurt that I can now add Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen's faces to the characters:D

:D! I'm pretty sure it wasn't until I found out who was making the movie that I went and read the first book, but oh, I'm so glad I did. Parker's style was very hit-or-miss -- some love it, some hate it -- but I was in the "love it" camp. :)
