Reader’s notes:
Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] katieforsythe for author permission, for writing such a brilliant story, and for being all-'round amazing.

[personal profile] luzula beat me to the punch on recording this fic (by a couple of years, at that), but, fortuitously, [community profile] multipodicity has declared this month to be repodding month. :)

Thanks to [personal profile] vassalady and [personal profile] paraka for proof listening and file hosting, respectively.

I’d love to receive listeners' feedback, constructive criticism, and/or squeeing. All comments will be cherished and snuggled and cooed over.

Ha, that's exactly what I did both times I did multipodicity--I didn't want to listen to the first version in case I got influenced by it.

Anyway, I haven't listened to my own version since I made it, but I do remember that it was the first time I recorded a 19th century British fandom, and I discovered how much I enjoyed recording that kind of language. I've done a lot more since. I don't sound British or anything, but I'm having a lot of fun with it?

Anyway, I think your reading is going to be awesome with this story! *happily anticipates*

Oh my. This podfic left me speechless. It is beautiful, simply beautiful: your reading conveys all the emotions Katie put on the page. Also, thanks for adding the music, which in this fic has such an important role. An overwhelming listening experience - in a totally positive way! I cannot describe how emotional and worked up I was by the end. Thank you. Please consider recording more of Katie's works... podfics like this are priceless treasures.

This was brilliant! Seriously, I don't think I have ever heard a more exquisitely and precisely read podfic, but with such genuine feeling, plus wonderful music. I listened to the last 12 minutes watching the sun set over the ocean in Oregon, it was a lovely moment....thank you so much for recording this, I believe I will be listening to it again...I want to listen to all of your podfic now!!!

I really like the way you included the music in this. The conceit of the story makes the music almost necessary.
