so here's something we think is pretty awesome, round these parts: people who do things for the joy of doing them. making your very first post to the amplificathon challenge in the final week is pretty much a guarantee that you have no hope of placing, as far as points are concerned, so it's motivated by other things--the desire to be part of the celebration of fandoms and voices, the wish to give something to the community, the bravery to post just to throw in.

So... once upon a time I mentioned to general_jinjur that I had an inkling to record this story, which is one of my favorites in this fandom. Or perhaps she mentioned she wanted to do it first? anyway, we both wanted to record it (actually, we very often have the same things on our lists), and we decided why not both do it! And be the example of our deeply-held conviction that good things are better when there's more of them, and several versions of the same story can satisfy more people. So now, depending on the day, you'll b able to pick the agitated french-accented version, or the more articulate, quieter experience. :)
