Ever since Podfic Awareness Week last year, I've been thinking about making a post along he lines of one of those iTunes Celebrity Podcasts - you know, where the people talk, and then there's a snippet of the song in question to tempt your ears, and then there's more talking, and it goes on for half an hour or so and then you basically want to BUY ALL THE SONGS. But with podfic, not music you could find on the internet for free.

But, I'm also a very lazy and procrastinate-y person, who sighed up for the lat day of ampliRECathon with the sole purpose of giving herself extra time to make up a podfic rec list, and STILL only just finished her recorded ramble 10 minutes ago. #TimeManagementFail

So instead, you get to listen to me talk for half an hour, and you DON'T get to hear snippets of the podfics I'm raving about, but you CAN go download them for yourself and HEAR THE WHOLE THING.

Okay, I am the flailiest and blushiest right now, because that was just LOVELY feedback, and at first I was all nodding along and saying "yes, yes, Auburn's story is JUST THAT BLOODY GOOD", and it is, oh it really is, but I was chuffed to bits that you felt my reading added to the experience.
