Pairing: Derek Stiles

Summary: From this brilliant prompt over at the teenwolfkink LJ comm:
Stiles is a twenty year old virgin who really wants to get fucked. But he doesn't want it to be super awkward or strange with some person he picks up in a bar so he orders a call man or whatever you call a male call girl [gigolo? Hustlers are on the street?] and he asks them to come to a hotel. Cue Derek who is not a hooker! but accidentally knocks on the wrong door, and Stiles is all HOLY SHIT YES and kisses him, and Derek is like, well, it's the right door now, and they have sex.
Cue the next morning when Stiles is all, I didn't know hookers spend the night and Derek is like, what do you mean hookers. [Please leave Derek as a werewolf.]

Date: 2012-08-17 12:11 am (UTC)I love the premise of the story and it was really fun hearing it read.
I have a stupid embarrassment squick so sometimes I find it hard to read situations where a character is (un)knowingly making a fool of themselves. Stiles being Stiles, that can happen a lot, but I find it easier to listen to it rather than read it.
I did want to let you know that when you read the word 'disconcerting' it sounded like 'disconcerning'.
Also, on Derek's voice, it sounded like it should fit but at the same time it didn't sound wholly natural. Maybe toning it down a bit would help if possible.
I liked how clear your reading was, that's always something I appreciate.
I'm off to rec this now. :) Already rec'ed it to my friend.
Thank you for sharing!

Thanks a lot for pointing those out to me. It is wonderful getting some constructive criticism. I am always looking for ways to improve. I am still finding middle ground with my Derek voice I think :) I just need some more practice with it I think.
And thanks so much for the rec :)
