Here are five of my favorite "I need to laugh today" podfics.

Blue Moon, written and read by fayjay (pandarus)

Harry Potter; Remus Lupin/Severus Snape
Snape and Lupin are trapped together just before the full moon, without hope of a timely rescue, but there's a chance Snape will survive--if they have sex. "Blue Moon" is entirely dialogue, and fayjay's voices (especially her Snape) reduce me to giggles every time I listen.

Gods Versus Aliens, written and read by fresne

Greek Mythology and Mahabharatha; Artemis/Iphigenia, Achilles/Penthesilea
Alien invaders anger Artemis, and things go downhill from there. Fresne's reading is deliciously over-the-top at times--Helen of Troy is entirely too happy to undergo alien probes, for example.

Leverage and White Collar; gen
The Leverage crew kidnaps Neal; Peter and El show up to rescue him. fishpatrol ably handles a lot of characters; she does a great job with Hardison (the POV character), and I adore her Parker (especially Parker-pretending-to-be-Eliot) and her El.

I've Got Nothing To Do Today But Smile (The Only Living Boy in New York), written by gyzym and read by pennyplainknits

Overworked lawyer Arthur stress bakes; coffee shop owner Eames is happy to provide the kitchen. pennyplainknits starts off with a bang, channeling Arthur's worry about making partner, and never lets up.

Due South; Benton Fraser/Ray Kowalski
Fraser suffers a blow to the head while undercover in a prison and wakes up believing his own cover story and that he's having an affair with the copy who arrested him. bessyboo (Ray POV sections) and moonlingmaid (Fraser POV sections) and friends have done a great job integrating various voices and various sound effects, making this a fun romp.

Bookmarking this post for all posterity! I haven't listened to most of these (and I totally second I've Got Nothing To Do Today But Smile (The Only Living Boy in New York), awesome podfic).
