Reader: [personal profile] elaineofshalott
Fandom: Sherlock Holmes (Arthur Conan Doyle stories, specifically
"The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton", readable at Project Gutenberg)
Pairing: Holmes/Watson
Rating: low PG-13, for reference to sexuality, the occasional mildly naughty word, and not-very-graphic violence

Author's Summary: "For a very short time, I stopped hoping altogether, and that, in the way of the world, is when his ignorance came to its end."

Reader's Note: Many thanks to Jane for giving me permission to record! I enjoyed doing the different voices.

I am quite certain that the text of this story is not nearly as good as you make it sound as though it is, and as a writer there's nothing more that could possibly be hoped from a podfic than that :) You did such a fantastic job, thank you so much for taking the time to record this! I enjoyed it very much.

Wow, I love your reading! It works very well with the 19th century style of SH. Now I want to hear you read Austen fic. *g*

I just listened to this, and enjoyed it immensely. Thank you! Great reading. I particularly liked how you differentiated Milverton's and the lady's voices - the rest of the voices too, of course!
