Please don't say that. I like pleasing people too much...and end up taking on too much...case point an 80K+ fic and 118K+ fic series I already did. You can bask when they're complete and posted.

Um, I've got some fics in SPN, I've podficced. Don't know what you ship, but there are 3 Dean/Cas, 2 gen, and 1 Sam/Dean UST fics. If you're interested at all. :)

I'm always interested! I'm a Sam/Dean shipper, but like gen and don't mind the occasional Dean/Cas. Which ones did you do? (It's very possible I already have them, since my SPN podfic library is... 12ish GB large? *grins*)

I'm primarily a Dean/Castiel shipper. I actually didn't read any SPN fic until I knew that there was the development of a pairing that wasn't Wincest. :/

I SAVE A LOT, OKAY?! *shifty eyes* (And a lot of these are J2. And I often take 5-6-8 hour trips by bus or train, and I need to have something to do, since I can't read because I get carsick. And I fall asleep listening to podfics. And I read a lot of fics, and can listen to my favorite podfics of my favorite fics over and over again. It's an all-around addiction, 'kay? *shuffles feet*)

Well, I always thought SPN has a particularly strong gen fandom. You didn't like reading that before Cas came along?

Huh. I read the S/D UST and, while it was interesting, it doesn't do anything for me. I don't think I've read any of the others... (Oh, I skimmed the human!AU Dean/Cas, it was cool.) The Michael gen sounds cool.

Dude, you like what you like. That's not weak, that's hedonistic. And we're all very, very hedonistic in fandom. *grins*

Oddly, I fall asleep to my own podfic. :/ It's apparently a very good napping soundtrack. :)

The Wincest was enough to frighten me from the fanfic. Also, I heard a lot of stories about the fandom, before I even got into SPN...which apparently was enough to get me to avoid it entirely.

It's weak. :)

LOL! Isn't it weird hearing yourself read? I'd never even recognize my voice, if not for the eerie similarity with my mother's voice. =)

Ah, the 'SPN fandom is nutty' thing. *winces* Sadly, the few individuals give us all a bad name. Oh, well... =/ Hope you're liking our sandbox better now? =D

I've actually gotten pretty used to my voice. I think the part that kinda throws me is that I used to do a lot of theater and tv through the various drama programs in my high school...and the thing is that I started smoking when I was in college, which resulted in my voice dropping about half and octave. I occasionally have moments where I'm confused, mostly because I keep expecting my voice to be slightly higher pitched.

Um...well, I mostly stay out of the fandom politics. It probably doesn't make me a very good fan, but unless it's squeeing about an ep or something awesome, I really try not to read it or get involved. Initially I was freaked from what I'd heard, but then as I spent more time within fandom, I realized I didn't want to get mixed up with any of the other crazy bits--not just SPN, but various other fandoms as well. :/

I'm the 'squee mostly' kind of fan, too; though recently I've realized there's a lot to learn in fandom, in regards to tolerance, open mindedness, diversity, respect, and so on. You just have to keep an eye on the 'right' comms/people. It's been fun. =D

There's is a lot to learn, I mean, god knows how much I've changed through the lens of fandom. I think back on who I was back when I first got involved, and I would probably smack the crap out of myself if I could.

At this point, most of my friends will just give me the basic rundown of whatever drama is going on...and I'll listen and commiserate on how much people suck sometimes. I don't really search it out. I happen to have a fairly well informed and educated flist, so most of the crazy that I see is boosting the signal.
