I've tried to choose stories here that were not recced elsewhen during amplirecathon. Going next-to-last made it very easy for me to selfishly choose my most favorite podfics, as so many of the most brilliant podfics of this fandom have been recognized already. <3

The podfics I chose are the ones that deeply inspired me; whether before I began recording myself or along the journey of learning how to do this, how to improve at it. For me, these are about much more than the awesome source fiction they are created with. They make the story into something wholly new and exciting.

Okay, this is probably my favorite podifc of ALL TIME. Pru is seriously, seriously awesome, and this story makes me burn with the need to SQUEE ALOUD. The voices, my god, THE VOICES. You can seriously hear each and every character through Pru's characterization, and since the story is so hilarious, the podfic will leave you laughing out loud! I could give about 100 examples of how hilarious and awesome this reading is, but really it'd be faster and a lot more fun if you listen for yourselves! ;-)

This was the first podfic I ever listened to and I think it really is the story that made me want to try podficcing for myself! ♥ There is something really cool about the reader's slow, deliberate and dead-pan reading of this story, especially the sarcastic, ironic parts. Oh, and her passion during the intense parts made me hold my breath. *happy sigh*
