Eeeeee! Awesome! :) My family does most of our gift-giving on the 23rd, so it's oddly appropriate to get home from that chaos and find this waiting for me. My holiday is now complete. :)
And... *blink*blink* ...just read your reflections post. Wow. I'm so grateful for all the effort you put in - taking time to get familiar with the series in such a narrow window at such a hectic time... just, wow. Thank you so much!
I have a couple long drives the next few days, so this will definitely be keeping me company. :)
Hey! :) It took me a while to finish due to radio problems, but I'm done now. :) This was *so* awesome! So exciting to listen to m'boys in a story that I wasn't also the reader on, and you did a great job with it! :) The pacing and wit in the banter-y parts was great, and I loved how well you did all the cowboy-speak... and Ezra's drawl had me grinning every time. :) I was really curious whether you'd give him the accent, since I struggled with what to do about it in the one I did. (Oh, and I *loved* the use of the theme song!)
Anyway, sorry to be so rambly... I'm not great at coherent thought when I'm squee-ing, but thank you SO MUCH!
I'm glad Ezra sounded right to you - I know he's your particular favorite. I actually did the first Ezra scene before I saw the DVD, and I was happy that it was a reasonable facsimile.
That theme song is really interesting - I downloaded it (it's actually Mancini's movie theme, I'm sure) and there are just so many different moods expressed in it - from comic, to sweet, to tense, to heroic. I think my favoirte part is the sweet trumpet solo about half-way through.
Well, anyway - I'm glad it was squee-worthy for you!!! I was very happy to do it and I enjoyed it immensely!
I'm so glad you're enjoying it! I hope Mag7 fans think it is fairly true to the characters. I had some serious anxiety about doing a podfic in a new (to me) fandom.
Thanks, I do plan to do more. I have permission from nottasha to do her "Amazon" series, which will be wonderful to record. I have several more I want to do, as well.
Sorry it took so long to respond. I am aware of some repeated phrases that I will edit out as soon as I get my help_haiti fics done. Check back on the comm for a correction post!
