You have a terrific reading voice and I loved the story. Of course, I didn't listen while cleaning and wrapping (since I didn't so any of that stuff). Luckily, I have an hour commute and I had to work today.

As it happens, the story is in my "Come Back Later" tag - I hadn't read it yet! THANX so much for doing this for me.

I'm just not in a mood to critique it - I'm too excited to get it!!!!! Maybe when I'm done with Christmas stuff -

Funny, I'm still more excited about Podbang than I am about Christmas - is that bent or what?

I'm incredibly impressed that you didn't mix up Jared and Jensen's names as you were reading. Considering that the words "John" and "Rodney" don't LOOK or SOUND anything ALIKE and I STILL managed to switch 'em around. I noticed a couple of places where you said "JC" for "JD." If it bothers you, you can go back and delete the "JC," especially since you corrected yourself to "JD" immediately every time. If you're having trouble isolating the unwanted syllables, and you're using Audacity, you can hit [CTRL]-1 to widen out the squiggles and slow the display down. (Squiggles - that's the technical term) [CTRL]-0 (zero) puts it back to normal. I used that method a lot, particularly with "In for a Peso" - if I messed up something, I wouldn't stop the recording - just re-read the messed up part immediately. That made fixing it a matter of deleting the goofs - no dubbing needed. Very useful - especially when I would say "Butt" instead of "Buck," making the recording unintentionally funny on a third grade level. And here I said I wouldn't critique it....

I want to see Victoria Falls now...without a raincoat...

...and imagine that first kiss (whoo-ee!).

And that timestamp - all I can say is - *sniff*

I'm still so excited about podbang and I've now listened to you again. You really do have a lovely voice. I'm enjoying my gift so VERY MUCH. Thanks again!

I hope my comments didn't make you think I was bothered by anything I mentioned. I wasn't.

Oh, no worries -- I definitely didn't take offense! I've just been swamped with work and the holidays...I haven't even gotten a chance to listen to the story you recorded for me!

I've just listened to a few minutes (busy time of year, y'know? =D), but it sounds clear (pronunciation-wise), it's not rushed (which is very important), the dialog is lively and easy to follow, and you have a really pleasant and melodic voice.

Basically, I totally loved it! \o/ Sorry, no concrit here. ^_~

Merry Christmas!
