I entered them as gen because: 1) I really didn't see any slash (and I've been reading slash for almost 35 years), 2) they can't really be labeled as both, by definition, and 3) the author said she meant the story to be gen. :-)

I included the 'slashy undertones' description was because the author mentioned it in a note at the beginning of the story. I let the author know I was posting it in slash communities, and they didn't seem bothered by it.
But it is a Gen story - I won't argue with that! Just thought I would let listeners know the story gets really touchy-feely at the end and can be seen very slightly slashy. Very slightly. ^____^

I see no problem with that. I just figured I'd stay consistent with the tagging at the archive. Jinjurly would chastise me if I tried to tag it both gen and slash. She's a perfectionist (which I can't complain about, as I am, too.) :-)

In fact, if it weren't wincest, which is such a turn off for many readers/listeners, I wouldn't be so specific.

Personally, of course, I LOVE it. As a matter of fact, I never really read gen until Supernatural came along. It's been a fandom of firsts for me, even after all these years. :-)

Embarrassingly, I popped my incest cherry on Simon and Simon back in the day...
