Title: Watching
Author and reader: me
Fandom: due South
Pairing: F/K
Rating: R
Format: mp3, 192 kbps
Length: 7 m 30 s
Notes: Here, have a spontaneously recorded little podficlet. My voice was kind of deep and a little bit hoarse today, so I thought I'd take advantage of that to record some porn.

Hmm, does the lack of metadata on my podfic files annoy people? I never use metadata myself, so I never enter any into my files, but if everyone else uses it, I guess I could start doing it.

Download at Sendspace.

Here's my template:

TITLE: [Name of fic] {X of Y} *
ARTIST: Reader: [reader name] **
COMPOSER: Author: [author name] **
GENRE: Podfic
ALBUM NAME: [fandom] {AU} ***
TRACK NUMBERS: If it is a multi-file single story, or a series with multiple files, I also use track numbers to order the file.
NOTES/COMMENTS: I find if the readers stick a link to the podfic post it's easier for me to find my way back to leave comments for the reader. I sometimes put additional info here (like genre of the fic, or whither or not it NC17), but that's more hit or miss and is dependent upon the podfic in question. However, my general feeling is that more data is better (I also love card catalogues, is it any surprise?)

* for multi-file stories.

**if the name and the LJ name are different, I do [name (lj-name)].

***if it is part of a series (and not a multi-track single file) I do [Fandom] {AU} -- [Series name] . Also, I use abbreviations for fandom names.

And one more thing about podfics but not about meta data-- when readers say author names or reader names and the word is odd or has letters or other such things, I really appreciate it when it gets spelled with [the radio alphabet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NATO_phonetic_alphabet)] because I'm not great at hearing things and then spelling them properly.
