okay, enough of that. other stuff:

- there have been a couple of people concerned that they might record the same story as someone else. we at podmod hivequarters are really not that worried about it? but we can also see how that could get all gift of the magi, fast. (well, okay, not exactly, but you get my meaning.) we do feel that the author (if they are not a blanket permission person) is very likely to tell you if they've been asked by someone else for permission to read. but in any case, please feel free to email audmod at gmail with the title of your fic, and we will let you know if anyone else has said they will be reading that one.

- but! what if your recipient is a mod? omg. mods love surprises! if you have a question or want to check on a fic title, and your recipient is a mod who is not general_jinjur, then email her at jinjurly at gmail. if your recipient is general_jinjur, then email or message superstitiousme at livejournal.com. <3

- we have seventeen betas standing at the ready! and six highly talented artists! if you need to be matched up with a beta or to talk with an artist, drop an email to audmod at gmail, and we'll hook you up.

- we also have a fantastic seventeen pinch hitters! the pinch hitter captain will be in touch, and will be calling on you as necessary! /salutes you all.

So, the last couple of weeks were kind of a wash for me--long story. Still, needless to say I'd be happy to lend my podbooking skills and/or artistic skills (such as they are) to anyone who needs them during the challenge. :-)
