okay, so we have some sort of limited amount of time left! i haven't done the math yet, or looked at time zones, but it is seriously enough time to strategize for a few more points!

it is very exciting seeing how much has been posted in the past few days. :D

so, a few administrative details:

- if you have posted any podfic to the challenge, then please comment to this post with the links to at least three stories, each under 8000 words, that you would really like to hear as podfic, but won't manage to record yourself any time soon. please make certain that author permission is granted for all three, either because that author is generally okay with such things, because they have posted offering their fics for recording, or by contacting them and asking. please do this before june 8. <3 we'll be using the list of fics for prizes, but also for a little celebration of how awesome you all are! (you can comment right away with story links, then confirm author permission by the 8th, if you like.)

- if you are interested in helping with prize graphics, please comment to this post!

Or, finally a great gift to me would be if I could record the rest of the Room 12 series by Flyakate (the one where John’s an elementary school teacher) these being “Rainy Day”, “October and Febuary”, "Universal Gravitation”, “Shutterbug”, “Lips and Hearts”, and “Overflow” (“Say Hello” is already podficced by Winkingstar, no idea if Winkingstar has dibs on these already?) Anyway as the author hasn't gotten back to me maybe this would be a great way for them to notice and then agree (or tell me no and I’ll stop wondering about it)...

Also, I’ve wanted to podfic Back Country Road Map but can’t seem to get in touch with Astolat, but as some of you obviously have/can because some of you have podficced her work, maybe you want to do this one too?

Just FYI - astolat has said she doesn't need you to get permission to do podfics, so you can just go ahead if you want to do that one. I think it was on her user profile page, if you want to check.

Also, I tried months and months ago to get permission to do the rest of the OT3 verse and got no response from either beanside or nilchance, so hopefully someone else will have more luck. I'd love to hear the rest of it done. I'd love to do it, but if they don't want me to, someone else should. *g*

That's sad you haven't heard back about the OT3 verse. I'd bet they're probably really busy (I find that that's usually the reason people don't get around to responding) so maybe I'll ask again as a reminder. I was going to hesitate to ask for permission until I knew which requests people wanted to record (as I feel once I ask to be able to have a podfic made of something I feel obligated to make it) but if this is something you'd want to do anyway? I'd definitely ask. ^^

ETA: Love Bites is actually Spike/Hedgehog's Dilemma/Sparkles a series of three short fics that run together to from one 7,977 word story, Cloud/Zack/Sephiroth FF7 fandom.
