There comes a point at which photoshopping is itself an art-- and I don't know where that line is exactly but it's certainly somewhere between what you did here and what I normally do (which is to say... well... there's a reason the only icon I have that I made was one that all I did was crop and shrink.)

Do you have a larger version of the album art somewhere? (I'd like to put it in my 'pretty pretty fanart' folder, if you wouldn't mind.)
