2. poisontaster is made of awesome and A Kept Boy made me come shrieking out of the lurker-closet.
3. When I started this project, I had planned to wait until I had all 40 of the posted chapters *perfectly* recorded, edited and knitted together in one nice little package before posting. Hahahahahaha. /insanity
4. Special thanks to bloodquartz for quick and gorgeous work on the cover art. ♥

Awesome! I haven't been keeping up with the story, but I do adore PT and her writing.

Do you have someone to compile the mp3s as a podbook? If not, I'd be happy to. Each part should include 5-6 hours, probably, to keep it manageable.

no, i don't have anybody to compile into podbook(s). it would be great if you want to do that. I am hopeful to have at least another 5 chapters done this week, but it will probably be a while before I have 5-6 hours of this story recorded.

You're most welcome. I live to podbook! And you've made it especially easy by having such a lovely cover already commissioned and attached.

Actually, I should probably 'book at ~3.5 hours for such a long series. In the past I've posted two versions of long podifcs, compiled at 32kbps and 64kbps, but if I do shorter parts, I can keep them below 100MB and stick to the one, (and better sounding, to my mind) 64kb version.

Hmmm--why didn't I think of this a year and a half ago? Duh.

I have been really enjoying your latest batch of A Kept Boy podfic, it's great! You are such a good reader, your voice is so smooth and tells the story so well without overselling it or overacting it. Yet, you know so well who is speaking without resorting to weird accents or verbal tics. I'm very fond of poisontaster's work and this story in particular. But to hear it in podfic form read by you is a treat!
