I do have to mention two things: first of all, I tried the link at the audiofic archive first, and it gave me an incomplete .zip file that wouldn't open (a little more than 11 meg). Maybe you can get in touch with the archivist and get that fixed? The Mediafire link worked very smoothly, though.

Also, um. ::scuffs foot:: I feel very bad about this, because you specifically asked, and I went back and was very embarrassed to see that I'd mistyped the pronounciation of Apophis' name for you, typing an "h" instead of an "f" for the last syllable. I mention it only because if someone else points it out, I want to say up front that it's totally my fault. It takes absolutely nothing away from your wonderful reading, believe me!

In fact, I'm going to finish typing this, and post a very squeeful rec about it in my own LJ, and then I'm going to go listen to it again... :)

May I link to this in SG-1's podfic comm? sg1podfic could always use more traffic! Or you could post there yourself, if you want? And if I do make the post, do you want me to link to this post, or directly to the mediafire link?

Oh, I'm so glad you liked it! Except for the regrettable Apophis thing, lol - no worries on my end. I only watched a few eps of SG-1 when it was on (cause I'm a fan of Ben Browder) and wasn't familiar with that name.

As far as jinjurly's archive site, the file downloaded fine for me - perhaps you can try it again? Sometimes the site is down and maybe that's what happened when you tried to dl it?

I didn't even know there was an sg1podfic comm!! I'll join and post this right away. :-)

It's quite possible it was just a break in the downloading process. I'm glad it was archived properly.

I've not a personal fan of new SG-1, but I'm happy for those who do like it. :)
