[identity profile] podmod.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] amplificathon

have we ever mentioned, hereabouts, how much [livejournal.com profile] podmod loves collaborative projects? hell, [livejournal.com profile] podmod herself is a collaborative entity, so you may have guessed. (fun fact - this lj entry is being written collaboratively, even.)

challenges like this one aren't necessarily collaborative, but i think the best ones wind up that way. the amplificathon totally wound up that way. everyone involved was feeding and fostering the activities of everyone else involved. cheering each other on, bringing other people in, helping each other with technical issues and other encouragement. and i'm not just talking about the people who recorded fic, here (inclusiveness is also something the borg [livejournal.com profile] podmod values) - but wow, a lot of them spent a crazy amount of time learning new software, contacting authors, finding space in their lives to read aloud, editing files, and learning to love their own voices. and they did that for all of us participating in the challenge, and all of us here in the comm, and for everyone in fandom.

so this is a thank you to all of the readers. you guys are completely made of awesome, and we are all of us so happy that each of you decided to participate. thank you! congratulations on your success!

seriously. thank you!
(mp3 file. feel free to click on the link to stream, in case you are the impatient sort. or right-click, save as, if you want to put it on a loop! we did.)

Additional, special thanks go to the people who contributed: [livejournal.com profile] anatsuno, [livejournal.com profile] iamsab, [livejournal.com profile] kinseyx, [livejournal.com profile] krisd81 and [livejournal.com profile] leviticus_lied. Surprise contributions were stolen without their consent from [livejournal.com profile] aphelant & [livejournal.com profile] general_jinjur: the person editing this file interspersed tidbits carved out from their collaborative project, Loser (hot like burning), which you can find in the archive, of course.
