the second day of the sixth month of a.d. two-thousand eight is now forever behind us all across the globe (unless, of course, someone manages to come up with a working time machine). this means the posting period for the first ever amplificathon has come to a close. we're working on the final tally and some cool things to go along with it. we just have to crunch some numbers, get out the macaroni and glitter, and maybe get some sleep first. in the meantime, thank you to everyone who read and helped make this a success:
