Part 2, 30.05 minutes, 27.5 mb, download at Sendspace
Part 3, 29.29 minutes, 27.0 mb, download at Sendspace
Part 4, 29.04 minutes, 26.6 mb, download at Sendspace
Part 5, 26.09 minutes, 23.9 mb, download at Sendspace

or the whole thing as one file: 2 hours and 21.28 minutes, 129.5 mb, download at Sendspace

There is also an audiobook with a lovely cover by [livejournal.com profile] cybel, download it at Sendspace. You can see the cover if you scroll down in the comments.

Reader's notes: This story is one of the classics of the fandom, and one of my favorite AU:s. Ray and Fraser are English professors, and the canon is adapted wonderfully to fit this scenario. I love the slow and delicious courtship in this story. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] thehoyden for letting me record it, I enjoyed it! If anyone wants smaller files with lower quality, I'd be glad to upload some. ETA: Almost forgot, [livejournal.com profile] akamine_chan beta-listened to the first part of this. Any mispronunciations in the other parts are my fault, obviously.

Points: 5 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 8

I haven't had time to listen yet, so this may be off base. Let me know if it will do or any suggestions you may have: http://pics.livejournal.com/cybel/pic/0004fas5

It's hard to find a good Ray in glasses pic!

Finding good caps for DS is a bitch! I'll poke around a bit more.

As for the title: Duh. Weird how the eye sees what it expects to see. That I will fix for sure! Be back later.

Oh, and I did start listening last night: great job! I downloaded the all in one version, though, and there seems to be a few spots of overlapping tracks starting just after the one hour mark. I'll download the separate files, reattach, and see if the problem persists.

I'm working on it, too. I have a nice program for my Mac called Fussion that normalizes sound and makes editing easy.

:) It's a library at a university in Chicago. I'm all about the realism! *LOL*

Does this look too weird? It kind of hides all the offending details without too many changes.

Great! Thanks for your input on it. I'll get the 'book uploaded and post it to [livejournal.com profile] podslash and my LJ if that's okay with you. I'll also send you the URL, of course, and you can do anything with it you want.

The 'book is posted at [livejournal.com profile] podslash. I'll upload the mp3 now and get back to you in about half an hour with the URL. I listened to it, and it seemed fine.

Oh, I loved this! (I like to listen to podfics before I comment so I can leave a meaningful comment, but then I keep forgetting to go back and actually leave a comment, and thusly I am back three weeks later...)

Anyway, back to the point. This is a great story and I loved your reading of it. You have such a lovely voice.

And also? I hadn't seen/read/listened to anything in Due South fandom before. I kept hearing great things about it from various friends and it was on my list of Things To Check Out Someday. But this story was the perfect way in for me since it's an AU. And then I loved it so much, I'm actually leaping into the rest of the fandom now, having procured the first season. So thank you muchly for giving me that extra motivation I needed to dive in. :D :D :D

.eta: Oh, and also, I adore long podfics! I have boring tasks to do at work, but my boss lets me bring my iPod, so podfics help keep me from dying of boredom. :)

Hee, oh man, I am having such fun watching the DVDs. I'm done with finals now, so it's nice to have time for some guilt-free fun! :D

I'm so glad you like my voice--I'm not a native speaker of English, so I get a little self-conscious about my accent sometimes.

Oh, I love accents! I think it's wonderful we have so many different countries represented in fandoms, and it's so great to be able to hear that diversity through podfics. So many people drawn together by huge geeky love and the magic of the Internet and all that. ♥

I do have one other long Due South podfic

Yay, another long one (and wow, that is really long)! And since I'm new to the fandom, I definitely need recs for the "classics" and such, so thanks. :)
