Reader's notes: This story is one of the classics of the fandom, and one of my favorite AU:s. Ray and Fraser are English professors, and the canon is adapted wonderfully to fit this scenario. I love the slow and delicious courtship in this story. Thanks to thehoyden for letting me record it, I enjoyed it! If anyone wants smaller files with lower quality, I'd be glad to upload some. ETA: Almost forgot, akamine_chan beta-listened to the first part of this. Any mispronunciations in the other parts are my fault, obviously.

Hmm, the title is slightly wrong. But yes, Ray in glasses is completely right for this (I wish his hair were a little spikier, but you can't get everything). Fraser actually wears a shirt and tie when he's at work in the story, but maybe that's hard to find a picture of?

As for the title: Duh. Weird how the eye sees what it expects to see. That I will fix for sure! Be back later.

Oh, and I did start listening last night: great job! I downloaded the all in one version, though, and there seems to be a few spots of overlapping tracks starting just after the one hour mark. I'll download the separate files, reattach, and see if the problem persists.

I'm working on it, too. I have a nice program for my Mac called Fussion that normalizes sound and makes editing easy.

Anyway, back to the point. This is a great story and I loved your reading of it. You have such a lovely voice.

And also? I hadn't seen/read/listened to anything in Due South fandom before. I kept hearing great things about it from various friends and it was on my list of Things To Check Out Someday. But this story was the perfect way in for me since it's an AU. And then I loved it so much, I'm actually leaping into the rest of the fandom now, having procured the first season. So thank you muchly for giving me that extra motivation I needed to dive in. :D :D :D

I love long stories too, but I can't seem to write them myself, so I think I'm trying to compensate--you know, at least I can record long podfics? I do have one other long Due South podfic: The Course, by Bone and Aristide, which is about four hours long and is one of the classics of the fandom. The sound quality isn't quite as good, though--it was recorded before I got my new microphone.
