The existence of podfic has been known to me for approximately one (1) day, so forgive me if the charm of novelty makes me appear a little overenthusiastic, but OMG!! This was your first time podficcing? You did an amazing job. The Down to the end 'verse is so gorgeous and I'm thrilled you picked the chapter you did for reading - you should definitely try on more of the chapters. Would be interesting to hear you draw on the differences between the POVs.

Possibly embarrasingly detailed feedback, but the part of the fic starting with He dreams of Sam. leading up to the pretty fucking funny part, I LOVE what you did to those three paragraphs. The imagery is so rich with the memories and the past and more resent history and you chiseled it all out.
I'd really like to hear your take on the other chapters of the 'verse. :)

Gleeful is the right word. Yesterday I listened to Common Knowledge at work (I know, bad idea) and had a hard time suppressing a hysterical cackle every three minutes. But of course I can claim scientific purposes - getting pronunciation of the English right etc. Which is why I need to listen to LONG fics with lots of verbose angsting, bitching, forplay, and cuddling, since PWPs (being nice and all) doesn't do much to, ehm, extend my vocabulary to any useful degree. Aaand wait, did anyone say anything about rambling?

YAY if you get to do the rest of the 'verse!

And *shuffles feet* if you should ever, you know, TAKE REQUESTS, the day someone records this (http://dontyouwaitup.livejournal.com/131671.html) is the day I roll over and die of happiness.

Yes, that 33k monster of the deep, have fun reading it. It's really lovely. I guess it is also something of an acquired taste. It's the closest to canon you can get in my book, which is why I love it so much. But blah blabbity blah, I won't spoil it for you anymore than that. :)

Yay for your first podfic! I adore this story, I pretty much adore any story where Dean trys to be all dumbly self sacrificing:) Thanks for recording it.
