Just listened! You did a GREAT job! Love your voice - really nice to listen to. The story (listened to the 2nd one) was really good, too - very vivid and evocative.

The only thing you may want to think about is moving the mic a little farther from your mouth, to reduce the breath noises. I struggle with this constantly, myself, and I've done a million podfics.

*blushes* Aww, thanks. I get a lot of comments on my accent in everyday life, am told I don't sound at all typically English, so it's nice to hear someone saying they like it - thank you, again!

*nods* Yeah, that can be a problem for me when I'm recording, as I have asthma, too. So I'll see what I can do about that. I have a remote mic to hook up to the dictaphone if I can find it. Thanks for the tip.

yay! the point values for the first one are just right - for the second one, you need to add 5 points for the recording, and two for it being your second recording - so 16 points for that one, too!
