you may deserve more pairing points. are your background pairings canon? are they really background? if they are canon and backgrounded, no, probably don't count them. if they aren't canon, probably *do* count them. depending on how far they are in the background. :) i haven't read/listened yet, but what's your feeling on it? don't be shy about claiming points!
