I love this fic, the very first time I read it, it just felt so right and true to the characters. I don't know if Sena intended it to be an alternate beginning to the band, or to be a complete AU with no band at all, but either way it works wonderfully. The conversation they have after Pete plays the Meters album (you'll see when you get there) is one of my favourite conversations in FOB fic ever

Intro and outro music is sampled from Saturday by Fall Out Boy. It just seemed to fit

<3 That bit where Patrick kisses his stomach (idk if you know but Pete has a tattoo just below his navel and that's what Patrick kisses) hit me like a punch to the gut. I'm glad it worked for you too!
