Also, I liked the sound effects--I didn't notice the text in the post about them, so they came as a surprise, but I thought it worked well.

Aww, thank you! :D ♥ I'm still on the fence about whether to do special effects for every one of these -- it's a LOT of work in editing, and some of the things I'd like to record contain tons of telepathy. I think I'm going to listen to a few more XMFC podfics and see how they sound with and without! :)
