I've used Box for years, and am happy with it--it's been very stable over the years, and you can stream from it--but I'll soon hit the 10 GB free storage limit. So it's either paying $138 a year to get 100 GB, or supplement it with something else.

Any recs?

A lot of podficcers do use archive.org with a player you can embed in ao3. I can check for guide!

Mediafire still! It's never let me down.

I use Mega (https://mega.nz/startpage) to host my podfics because you get 50 GB of free storage (you can get several terabytes if you start paying, but I haven't needed to, so I can't speak to the paid tiers). You can stream from it as well as download! It's been a great service for my needs for the past 5+ years.

I've never seen that before, and haven't had anyone report problems hitting a paywall with things I've uploaded to Mega. Yikes! I wonder if they've changed their policy about streaming recently? A quick look at their site didn't answer my questions, so let me look into it a bit more and get back to you.

Did the commenter share if they were able to stream once and then hit the paywall, or was it there from the beginning?

I started using FileFactory after hearing about someone else using it for many years. There’s a lifetime membership option and I’ve been really liking it. I usually post to archive.org (for streaming & download) and FileFactory (download only) these days. FF lets me link to a folder that doesn’t reveal anything about my user info (even though it’s fannish) so that’s also nice. Direct linking to a download (no interface page) is also available.
