Welcome to the fourth annual podfic love meme! This vintage love meme is dedicated to all contributors to the podfic community. "Contributors" could include, but is not limited to: podficcers, audiofic archivists and other infrastructure people, mods, meta writers, cover artists, and mentors, betas, and cheerleaders. Shout out to yue_ix for allowing us to use their exquisite art below once again.



Some information to start -

1) Comment with your name if you want to be loved.
Leave a short bio, links to your social media handles, links to what it is that you do in the community, and other fannish info you think is important.

2) Tell us what you want love for.
Do you create amazing cover art? Do you love modding challenges? Are you the most meticulous beta listener? Share your skills and help us make this as good an experience for you as possible.

3) Let us know if it's okay to befriend you.
With bios and other info out there, it may be confusing to know how much attention is welcome. If you're open to adding new friends, include that somewhere in your comment.

ROSE, you didn't say what you want love for! So I will say that I really admire your ability to be a stay-at-home mom, one of the hardest jobs in the world, and still find so much time and energy to put into podficcing. You're an inspiration!

I have lovefested and love memed you so many times that I probably have nothing new to say, so LET ME REPEAT MYSELF: you are the best! I am so impressed every time with your ability to cold read a text, where you have only just recently learned about the character, and still knock it out of the park, totally capturing the character voice and bringing out the humor and emotion of the story. It is like watching magic happen. Like that one Phoenix Wright story with the motorcycle, which was perfection. Also you are such a generous scene partner, so podficcing with you makes me better.

All of my podfic is on my AO3 shmaylor. Along with making podfic, I've been one of the mods for pod_together for the last few years, and I created the Podfic Polygons challenge (I didn't manage to make it happen this year, but hopefully we'll be coming back next year!)

The love I'd especially like is for podfic I've made for more obscure fandoms, or for my humor podfic in any fandom, but any kind of love is a delight. The podfic community is such a constant source of joy in my life <3

Hi! I've listened to some of your star wars podfic and I absolutely adore how you use the music in it. It's so difficult to pick music that fits the tone of a story and make it just the right volume and length, and you do it so marvelously. I relistened to In for Repairs before leaving this comment and the music as intro and scene breaks was incredible, it really added a lot of atmosphere and seemed so seamless. I'm definitely going to check out more of your stuff, you are doing a great job and it makes me want to try more effects and music in my own podfics! <333

Things I Do (in rough order of preference for love here, but I'm open to whatever nice things you wanna say):

• I make podfic! It is all either posted at my AO3, or compiled in the Awesome Ladies collections over the years.

• I mod things! I have co-run #ITPE since its inception, and the Awesome Ladies Podfic Anthology since its second year (I also always do the cover art for ALPA). I co-ran Theatripod when it happened.
  
• I organize cons & con panels! I co-chair Podfication, the North American podfic convention, and run podfic-related panels both there and at various other North American cons like FanWorks and Bitchin Party.

I'm only just now discovering this community and I can't wait for the next event / exchange. I've done two podfics so far, though I think I'll need to re-edit the first one. I swear I've done more it's just that the thought of editing has me faint.

I'm writerproblem193 on tumblr and ThatAloneOne on AO3. Just Carmilla podfics so far, but I have some DS9 ones recorded that I'll post once they're edited! If anyone has run across my podfic before (especially the BATB one) I'd love to hear what you think!

I'm also open to friending here, but I'll be honest and say I just follow Star Trek meme blogs on Tumblr.
