These are lovely, and you posted them just when I very much needed them!
I particularly enjoyed the way you depicted Harold's attempts to continue talking in Peak Effect - great performance! Thank you for that! You may have just reeled me into this fandom, I am now curious !

Thanks! -- I'm glad you enjoyed them. I certainly had a lot of fun making them. :)

(I come to podfic from theatre, so I generally pick fics that have good acting opportunities in the dialogue, like Peak Effect. It's a fun chance to get to play with the kind of scenes I wouldn't necessarily ever have an opportunity to do on stage.)

I have only dipped my toe in the POI fandom myself. It has the interesting thing going on that the show added new characters and shifted focus halfway through, and the slash-fic seems to reflect that -- there's almost as much Root/Shaw on AO3 as Finch/Reese, even though Finch & Reese are in all 4 seasons while Root & Shaw only become main characters halfway through S3. (Yay, opportunities for femslash!)

And I get what you mean, in a way - I was delighted, getting to play Dean Winchester for podfic! (though most of the stuff I recorded never ended up posted, and I stopped, cause editing is too hellish a hell for e)

Editing can certainly be the never-ending rabbit hole of fiddling around with stuff. I try to go for a middle ground of fixing it up to a certain standard and trying not to worry too much about all the other improvements I could theoretically make. :)

Mostly POI got on my radar because of authors I liked from previous fandoms also writing there. :) I eventually went and watched it to see what it was like & because I was looking for TV to exercise to. It's definitely one of those shows that has potential but inconsistent/flawed writing, and therefore cries out for fic. :)

I can't download any of these files, even using a different browser. Can you confirm these should be available to non-Box users?

Oh, I think what's happened is that I've hit the monthly bandwidth limit on the account so it's not allowing any more access until February. (This is the downside of a free Box account. Usually I don't get so much traffic that it's a problem, but I posted a whole bunch of new things this month, so I've been getting more hits than usual.)

I could get them to you via some other method if you like, or if you check back after 2/1 the Box links should be fine then.

They should, but it looks like I've hit my bandwidth limit for the month so the files can't be viewed until February. :/
