Summary:Where Mo Jai stood in bitter opposition to Hol Xie for whenever Mo Jai would move forward, there was Hol Xie standing in this way. He had compared Mo Jai's work to that of a buffalo. He had compared his brush strokes to the strangled lashing of cat's tail.
Mo Jai was a Beta of distinction. His brushstrokes had made Omegas blush. His poetry was on the subjects of greatest beauty. The scent of a Omega in first flower. The fire of an Alpha returning from battle with the Tartars, returning from war to their Omega.
What did Hol Xie write upon but the companionship of Betas. All was calm moonlight upon the green mountain. How were these words the fit subject for poetry?
