Summary: Where Major Jeanette de Watronville survived the sucking mud of Verdun. Just. She just about survived.
Where Sherlock Holmes knew how to read hieratic writing before English. Although, yes, English, French, German, Arabic, Coptic, Latin… languages. Where he knew he was different long before his presentation as an Omega. One more barrier.
Where the outbreak of the War to End all Wars was a grave disruption to Mr. Moriarty's archaeological work. A great disruption of disrupting graves. As to the fabled lost city of Hathorus, Moriarty had found the city first. Fine. Second.
Still, it wouldn't do to muddy the chain of custody. He entombed Holmes and his useless Al in in a tomb and left with his steamship piled high with treasure.
However, what happens in the tomb does not stay in the tomb.
