amplificathon 2015: week 1 points

Good evening, Amplificathoners! (or whatever time-of-day greeting is appropriate in your corner of the world)

jesperanda here with the standings for the first week of Amplificathon 2015. So far, we have about 75 new podfics and at least 4 new fandoms, including Jupiter Ascending with 11 (!) podfics so far.

There are 23 podficcers with points on the board, including the eleventy or so of you who participated in that long multivoice Avengers podfic. That's a strong showing out of the gate, but the challenge is still young ... ;-)

So while I'm rolling around in all the new podfic, here are the results as of 10:39 p.m. EST March 21 (UTC -4). We mods do our best to be accurate, but if you think your total should be different, please let us know.

I feel I should speak up and ask about my points since I've only posted one MCU genfic and it was shorter than 10 minutes. By my count I have 10 points?

You are correct! One of rscreighton's podfics was entered on the wrong line of the spreadsheet. It has been fixed; I'll update the table accordingly.

Um....according to my personal spreadsheet, by my count I have 280 points....

Oh no, I see where this went wrong. So on "A Cry Answered" I had put "Total Points= 250" at the very bottom of the post but that was me keeping a personal tally of the total points I had accumulated from everything I posted for amplificathon thus far. I def did not make that clear enough. PLZ TO IGNORE. It should go 180 + 60 + 40= 280 points. And I'll go fix that in the post I made.

(This would also mean Hananobira, who collaborated with me on that podfic would be at 60, not 250)

According to my spreadsheet I should have 651 points. xD (I went through my posts to double check as well, and make sure I posted everything I THOUGHT I posted. xD) My math with posting dates below! <3 Thanks ya'll!

Just so the mods know - I'm not personally competing in Amplificathon.

The others who worked on the Epic Avengers Podfic of Doom wanted it to be an Amplificathon project and I went along with it, but I'm not personally keeping score for myself, so if you want to take me out of the rankings list and free up the 3rd Place slot for someone who actually is in the race for points, it's totally cool with me.

(Also - out of curiosity, what was it that put me in 3rd place when there are a bunch of others with just as many points this past week?)
