amplificathonplease figure your points and put the point value(s) on the post where you announce your recording(s). please present your points for fandom, relationship(s) or gen categories, bonus earnings, and length for each podfic. then, at the bottom of the entry, include the total points for all podfics in your post (for easier mod tracking). the numbers will be added up and posted throughout the challenge.
a) fandom points:
- giant fandoms - 1 point - any fandom with 250 or more podfics in the archive as of march 1, 2015
- represented fandoms - 5 points - any fandom with between 21 and 249 podfics in the archive as of march 1, 2015
- under-represented fandoms - 10 points - any fandom with 20 or fewer podfics in the archive as of march 1, 2015
b) relationship points (gen categories or any romantic groupings):
- giant relationships - 1 point - any relationship (or gen category) with 250 or more podfics in the archive as of march 1, 2015

how do i do this math?
examples:
yes, this privileges crossovers. we don't think that's a problem. the more, the merrier! we are trusting people to get the difference between a crossover and a fusion - none of the challenge mods are going to read/listen to everything to figure it out (but of course if you'd like the mods to help, please ask!). if a fusion involves major world-elements (for example,trinityofone's dæmonology universe), you can count it like a crossover. if a story is only borrowing plot or minor elements from a second source, this would be considered an au, but not a crossover. when in doubt, guess. and ask your friends. and trust your own judgement. :)
six degrees-type fandoms and rpf fandoms count separately from the fandom they are associated with.
characters with more than one name or multiple identities, such as tony stark and iron man (comics 'verse), only count once. different characters sharing a body (possibly due to teleportation shenanigans) might count twice. when in doubt, guess. ask your friends. and trust your judgement :)

- a 16:00 sg:a, mckay/sheppard podfic gets 1 point for the fandom and 1 point for the pairing, multiplied by 2 for the length = (1+1)x2 = 4
- a 45:00 gen supernatural podfic in finnish gets 1 point for the fandom, 1 point for the gen category, and 10 for non-english, multiplied by 4 for the length = (1+1+10)x4 = 48
- a 1:01:01 teen wolf, derek/stiles & allison/scott podfic gets 1 point for the fandom, 1 for the first relationship, 5 for the second relationship, multiplied by 4 for the length = (1+1+5)x4 = 28
- a 15:00:00 merlin (bbc), gwen/morgana podfic gets 1 for the fandom and 5 for the pairing, multiplied by 40 for the length = (1+5)x40 = 240
- a 24:05 star trek: voyager, seven of nine/b'elanna podfic gets 10 for the fandom and 10 for the pairing, multiplied by 3 for length = (10+10)x3 = 60
- a 3:09 hockey players gen podfic in quebecois gets 1 for the fandom, 10 for the gen category, 10 for non-english and 1 for length = (1+10+10)x1 = 21
