I can't really take credit as no math is involved--thank God. Once the files are stitched together I just take my software, and iTunes, word for the length. ;-)

If it's one file, I can just look at the Audacity length or hover over the .mp3 file, but when there are several files, as in this case, I always get the math wrong. I have to keep reminding myself there AREN'T 100 minutes in an hour...
