Title: Stand Fast In Your Enchantments
Author: DevilDoll
Fandom, Pairing: Teen Wolf, Stiles/Derek, Stiles/Lydia
Rating: Explicit
Summary: "Stiles knew damn well what a pissed-off wolf sounded like, and every hair on the back of his neck was telling him that somewhere in this room was a very pissed-off werewolf." An AU in which Derek is feral, Stiles is magical, and they eat a lot of fast food.
Reader's Notes: This reading was just a voyage of self-discovery. I learned that I have no idea how to pronounce the word "tincture," but more importantly, I couldn't have imagined enjoying a story with feral Derek in it this much before I read it. Feral Derek (or feral anyone) always makes me a little uncomfortable, to be honest, but this story isn't thinly veiledbestiary bestiality or whatever you're thinking; it's a story about two people bonding with each other in extreme circumstances, and how (sort of) ordinary life—or as ordinary as life ever gets in Beacon Hills—changes that bond. And how it doesn't. Just listen.

Date: 2014-06-05 05:11 pm (UTC)thank you so, so, so much for doing a recording of this exceptional story! I've now listened for the third time, because it is just so good!
You're great, introducing all the different sound effects and catching the mood every time. Angst, hanky-panky, irritation, you nailed it!
I know how difficult it is to read out a story and get the voice right, I've been reading to my nephews who were used to much higher standards *lol*.
You are very professional and that made this lovely story even more enjoyable! Please keep up the good work!
Also thank you for taking on a 77K story! That's huge and I am very grateful, because I don't have much time and shy away from 20K+ stories. Which is stupid, because great stories, slow build and lots and lots of drama are found in longer stories. Thanks for podficing it, it made my day (in fact several days!!!). I would be eternally grateful if you would select more 30K+ stories.
Okay, I will continue gushing at the author's AO3 page.
Best wishes from Scotland
Athrun
