Hey, I went ahead and added the fandom, reader and archive status tags but if you could add them next time it makes it easier for people to fomd specific fandoms and readers and for us archivists to know if a story has already been archived.

I actually tried to use tags when I posted but got an error message that DW wouldn't let publish the post if I had any tags on it. I know how important tagging posts is, so is there any form of permission I need to be able to do that?

The community settings are that all users can make an entry using tags that already exist, but only moderators can create new tags. From the sounds of it you were trying to use existing tags, which should have worked! If the issue persists I suggest contacting Support.
