Titel: Terms of Endearment
Author:

Author:

Rating: PG-13
Fandom: Sherlock (BBC)
Pairing: Sherlock/John/Lestrade
Summary: “Do you think,” John asks, “he might have drugged himself again?”
It's a valid question. They haven't been attacked with psychoactive mist or the like in a while but Sherlock is perfectly capable of accidentally creating and ingesting his own mood-altering chemicals.
Warning (highlight to read f. spoilery warnings):Reference to canon-typical violence. Also, gross sappiness!

As this is my first podfic, I would love some constructive criticism!

Date: 2013-05-10 06:59 pm (UTC)The header intro is a matter of personal style, but I don't like having warnings and summary and author's notes, etc, at the beginning of my podfics. I don't think they are needed (unless you are warning for real triggers like cutting or non-con) and tend to weigh the podfic down. Just get to the story already. (Some people disagree with me on this; they like having the summary stated in the podfic in case they've forgotten what the story was about, so it is still up to you what you include in the intro.)
Yay for a new podficcer!

Date: 2013-05-12 09:41 pm (UTC)I don't think I will be doing voices in future podfics. It's something I had been dubious about and you confirmed my impression that I'm better off just leaving that alone. And yeah, the header seems way too long, now that I think about.
Incidentally, do you know where I might find willing betas for future podfics? I think that especially at the beginning it would be helpful to have a second pair of ears.
