I have loved this fic for ages and am so excited to have finally gotten good enough (read, roughly adequate in the most limited sense) with Garageband to be able to tackle the music insertion.

I did struggle on music placement - where and how loudly it needed to go and be, and I'm not sure where it ended up on the success scale. But I got so cross-eyed (and whatever the aural equivalent is) going over it again and again so we're going to post it and move on! Any suggestions/comments appreciated.

OMG that was hot. Violin!porn is the best porn, tru fax. I didn't notice the volume of the music being distracting in any way. Too busy enjoying the gorgeous, gorgeous violin. And your lovely voice!

I think for the music, the only thing I might have played with a bit would be to repeat the piece, quieter, beneath the text only because they were continuing to play. But I also probably would have ended up doing just what you did in case it felt too distracting! So, go with your gut and I think you did fine!

Thank you so much! There will always be ways I could have done things better, I've accepted it. ;) I have been experimenting more with underlying music (for stories under 10 minutes - finding a long, soft song and keeping it throughout), and I really love the moody quality. Will see what I can do with longer pieces. Thanks for listening!
