Thank you! I have no idea how many Elvish speakers there are overall--I suspect very few. It's more a language that fans learn to write and read in rather than speak, I think. I was pretty surprised no one had written fic in Quenya at the AO3--with all those Tolkien fics, someone should be language-geeky enough to do it. : )
