A couple failed relationships and a few years later, Jensen's decided that one-night stands are preferable to dates. He's got his friends and his roommate, Sophia, for everything non-sex related, after all. Until Sophia decides to move in with her boyfriend and Jensen's stuck trying to find a new roommate. At Sophia's insistence, Jensen meets Jared Padalecki and the two become fast friends. Only, the more they get to know each other, the more obvious it is that there's something there. But Jensen is unwilling to risk losing Jared's friendship for the possibility of more. Unfortunately, if he doesn't get things figured out, he might lose Jared anyway.

I almost feel like I should apologize for this podfic because it's a great story and I really feel like I could have done so much more with it. There are timestamps, which I didn't add (but might later, possibly). It could probably do with some music, but I'm so woefully ignorant of the Seattle music scene I didn't add much. The one song that is used as a section break is by an artist suggested by mementis as being someone JDM likes. I really don't feel like I've done it any kind of justice, but if this format brings it to the ears of more fans, then I suppose that's enough.

With the crappy internet I used to have I got that problem a lot trying to upload to mediafire. It would upload for 2 hours and then disconnect and time out, and then I'd have to start over. Infuriating. Better now, though. Thanks again for everything. ♥

Can I be really cheeky and ask if you can you recommend any other podfic of yours? It has to be either J2 or SPN gen and the longer the better :) I love angst. I just listened to 'Screw You We're from Texas' and loved that one too.

"Screw You, We're From Texas" is probably my favorite J2 story ever. I never get tired of that one. As for others, hmm...of course you can always browse my reader tag at the archive, but that's going to turn up a lot of Generation Kill stories in the recent pages. Ditto for the my podfic tag at my DW/LJ, and ruling out Sam/Dean is going to trim the numbers down considerably, especially if you're wanting to up the angst level. Maybe try:
