Today is the first day of pod_aware! A full week devoted to spreading awareness about podfic!

Today's theme is Podfic 101/Why We Podfic. To kick things off, there's a podcast on the topic. I've also written a podfic tutorial.

Multifandom Podfic Rec Tree: Audience Participation Wanted

In light of the Podfic Appreciation Week at pod_aware, I'm conducting an experiment I've been thinking about for a while and hosting a Multifandom Podfic Rec Tree.

Anyone who has listened to and enjoyed podfic can participate. In fact, the more, the better! The basic idea is to let yourself be inspired by the recs that are already there and branch out from them. For details find The Tree here.

Like I said, the whole thing is a bit of an experiment (I don't think something like this has been done before), so I really hope you're in a sharing mood!
